USB Controller Problem . . .

Guest

I recently installed Win 2000 over XP Home and have an issue with the usb
controllers. When I start Win2k I get 4 consecutive error messages that the
USB controllers are invalid:

"This device is not configured correctly. (Code 1)"
"To reinstall the drivers for this device, click Reinstall Driver."

I have attempted to reinstall the drivers repeatedly to no avail.

The usb ports worked perfectly under XP. Does anyone have any thoughts or
suggestions? The following info is reported from Sandra:

In order to resolve this issue, I suggest you to do the following:

1. Start the computer in Windows 2000.
2. Install the Chipset drivers for Windows 2000.
3. Restart the computer and later install the USB drivers.

Additionally, I would also suggest you to install the latest service pack.
