USB 2 PC Card

My MB (BIOSTAR) has two USB 1 connections on the rear plus a header to
which I have connected two front USB connections in one of the 5 1/4'
bays. That, of course, is USB 1 also. I put a USB 2 PC Card in and now
the header doesn't feed the front ports and there is no header on the
card.

Does anyone know of a USB 2 card that has a header on it to which I can
connect the two front ports? I don't seem to be able to find one via
Google or by local shopping.

Thank you very much.

I bought one from NewEgg not too long ago.
$7.00 plus $5.00 shipping. Good luck.

Thank you, I checked out NewEgg but didn't fine any cards with headers.
All have the 'normal' usb connector for the internal connector.

They used to have one or two. The last one I bought from
them was advertised as having the header, was a "PPA" (or
something similar) brand, but upon arrival I saw that they'd
changed the design- it clearly had only a single row, one
USB socket header. I think there are some others that have
dual row for two ports but I don't remember who has them,
partially because they were so disproportionately priced @
$25 and higher.

Front-X makes some adapter cables that should do the job.

Try to swap the USB 2 to another empty slot OR another PCI card. It
might solve the conflict problem.
