USB 2.0

I just bought a USB 2.0 Hard disk. It is formatted and
device manager tells me "that device is working
fine".Disk Management in Device mager also shows this
disk "ONLINE", but it never shows up in MY COMPUTER as a
Drive??? My computer has a USB 1.1 port. By the way it
works fine with my Apple Powerbook.which also has a USB
1.1. I need help urgently...thanks
 
Hi, in disc manager try changing the letter that the drive is using and see
if that works.....

In disk management you need to assign a drive letter, that should do it.

Try expanding your Universal Serial Bus controller in

the device manager and see if it is there as a mass
storage device. That's where mine shows up. Russ
