WIN XP WITHOUT INSTALLING ANY NEW PROGRAMS OR SAVING ANY
DATA AND CLEARING ALL INTERNET VISITED THE USED BYTES ON
MY HARD DRIVE KEEP MOUNTING AND MOUNTING AND MOUNTING. IN
FACT I UNINSTALLED A PIECE OF SOFTWARE AND INSTEAD OF
GIVING ME BACK THE AMOUNT OF BYTES BACK THE BYTES USED
WENT UP.WHY IS THIS HAPPENING

Turn off/on System Restore:
Start/All Programs/Accessories/System Tools/System Restore.
Click System Restore Settings on left side.
Check "Turn off System Restore", click OK, follow prompts and reboot.
This deletes ALL Restore Points including corruption.
Then go back and turn on system Restore and create a Restore Point.
System Restore may have problems.
Restore Points will be created and space used according to what you
allocate to System Restore.
