Hi

I have just arived back from holiday in US. My friend took photos on a Sony
digital camera and saved them onto CD for me to bring back to the UK. My
laptop CD RW drive can;t read the US CD, seems to think it is a blank CD to
burn.

Any suggestions how I can resolve? The US CD is 650MB format. I know my
drive reads 700MB CDs.

Please help if you can. Thanks.

It's highly unlikely that this has anything to with the US vs the UK. Almost
cetrainly, the problem has to with the software your friend used and how he
used it--probably improperly.

Correct. Most like ly it was burned using the 'drag and drop' method.
That tends to produce unreadable CDs.
