Urls keep being redirected

When I try to view some web pages, the link I click on
redirects me elsewhere - usually to a page the web site has
setup in the event that a page on their site is missing.
However, I know for sure that the page isn't missing,
because I can view it quite easily on other connections. I
tried using a program that renames the HOSTS and therefore
disables it, but this hasn't solved the problem. Any help
will be much appreciated.
