It's probably a flash video, in which case you need third party software.
You might try Firefox with Sothink Web Video Downloader and then another
third party software like YouTube FLV to AVI converter
(www.easiestutils.com). It's not as easy as it first appears because MTV
and VH1 would like to keep the videos and not have them 'borrowed', but if
you follow the instructions on the third party softwares, you will be able
to have a copy on your hard drive. They are not going to be good quality
videos, but they will work.
