URL does not show up when retrieving site saved in Favorites

When I save a site in my Favorites, and I retrieve it,
the URL appears for a second, then the name of the site
only shows at the top of the screen. I cannot copy and
paste the URL. Any suggestions on how to correct this. I
have XP Home. Please answer by email. Thanks

To copy an URL from a Favorite, you can right-click the Favorite and
select properties.
