Urgently need help with product Key

hello, please can some one help me with my microsoft office product key, i
bought a laptop a few weeks ago, and it is asking me for a product key, i
located the product key on the underneath of my laptop, yet when i type it in
it does not recognise it, i have repeted the process several times and am now
in desperate need of help.

The product key on the laptop is probably for Vista (or XP). It won't work
for Office. If you bought Office, you should have the key with the
documentation you got with your laptop. Otherwise, it may just be a
preloaded trial version installed and you would need to purchase the full
version to get the key.

The Product Key on the label affixed to the laptop is that of
Windows. It will not work for Office.

To obtain an Office Product Key, look on the packaging that contains
the Office installation media. If you have a trial version of Office
that came with the new computer, you'll have to purchase a full Office
to obtain the Office Product Key. This would have been spelled out in
the documentation that accompanied the computer purchase.
