URGENT! YM MESSENGER

I'M USING WINDOWS VISTA FOR THE FIRST TIME, I JUST HAVE MY NEW LAPTOP, I WAS
INSTALLING YM MESSENGER, I DID INSTALLED IT BUT UNFORETUNATELY, I CAN'T SIGN
IN MY PASSWORD....ALWAYS SAYING "PLEASE TRY AGAIN"...CAN ANYBODY HELP!!!!

Do you have McAfee instaled with your new laptop? If so try disabling the
privacy service.

Do you have McAfee instaled with your new laptop? If so try disabling the
privacy service.

I've been trying to sign in a week already but still have problem in signing
in!!! I double check and borrowed one of my freind laptop which she has xp.

Well use the correct password. My crystal ball suggests that your password
should be "imfsckedwithvista".

Yahoo Messenger works fine here in Vista Home Premium.

check for your internet security software, i have the same problem before, i
found out that i have an internet security software, i uninstalled it and
BINGO, yahoo messenger works, of course i reinstalled back another anti virus
software to be safe. I think it has something to do with your anti virus'
FIREWALL.

Yahoo Messenger is NOT fully compatible with Vista yet. Yahoo will release a
Vista compatible version soon which from the demo looks very good.

How about using Windows Live Messenger?

Yahoo has had that demo up since before Vista RTM on Nov. 8, 2006.

They must had/having some problems with the software.

Live Messenger is much better that YM but I also us Skype for it ease of
use.

I also use both of those, and I do like Live Messenger better.
Although, the Yahoo demo looks impressive. But, they have so
far failed to deliver. Since you can now add Yahoo contacts to
Live Messenger, I really have no need for Yahoo Messenger.
