Hi I have changed the win2k screen resolution from 1024x7.. to 800x600. The
screen turned really weird so I tried going back to 1024x... but it doesnt
seem to change the display though the settings suggest selection of 1024x7..
I have done this few months back and I had no problems. Now even when my
windows is maximised it doesn't occupy the entire screen and the sides if
the windows look kinda curved inside. What do I do ? I have tried restarting
machine several times, clicked on "Apply" button. But doesn't seem to help.
Any Help Appreciated. I just want the windows filling the screen completely.

You may need to alter the monitor settings, usually ammended by btns on yr
monitor

Thank you, playing with the function buttons lke h-size, v-size, side-pin on
monitor have helped restore.

It sounds like you didn't apply the same refresh rate that you had
originally set at 1024x768. As you found out, you need to adjust the
monitor settings for each resolution-refresh rate combination.
