Why would anyone want to click on a link leading to something possibly
running a Java applet?

If you're not a malicious troll, then the answer is that you've got the
url wrong.

A couple of questions:
1. Can you ping the name aaa.ccee.rrr.cc.com?
if not then check the DNS server for the proper entry.
2. If #1 is ok then is there a web service running on port 51000 on this
host?
if not then check the web service on the host

You need to double check to see if the aaa.ccee.rrr.cc.com web site exists.
If this site is a true site, then your ISP, or DNS server provider, might not
have this site registered in their DNS service records. If this site is not a
true web site, then you have a program/process that is starting up which
should not be running. These type of applications are commonly known as
"spywares" and your can locate god, free spyware removal tools. Some are: Ad
Aware Se, Spybot: Search and Destroy 1.4 and Spyware Terminator.

BTW: aaa.ccee.rrr.cc.com is not a valid URL. As long as you are not using
this as a dummy domain for replacing "localhost", the above info should be
correct. If you are referring this as "localhost," then you definitely have
some type of process/program/application running off your PC. "localhost" is
a specially reserved DNS name that refers to a special IP address 127.0.0.1.
This address has be set aside for the local loop-back host adapter for any
TCP/IP enabled device.

eg: localhost is the special host adapter IP address (127.0.0.1) of your
PC.

Check you local IP settings look at the DNS settings. Compare this to a
computer that works.

I m facing the following problem and I can not fixe cause everything
seems ok! I m using XP Pro
The requested URL could not be retrieved
Unable to determine IP address from host name for aaa.ccee.rrr.cc.com
The dnsserver returned:
Name Error: The domain name does not exist.
This means that:
Unable to resolve the hostname presented in the URL.
Check if the address is correct.

Generic approach:
- Start, Run, enter the command CMD
- IPConfig (to see your IP and that of your gateway)
- Ping 127.0.0.1 (verify Ping works)
- Ping <your IP>
- Ping <gateway IP>
- Ping 196.2.16.3
- Ping google.com

Obviously you'd use the values returned from IPConfig for "your IP"
and "gateway IP", and you can use any Internet IP address known to
respond to Ping instead of 196.2.16.3 - as long as it is outside your
netmask, else you won't be testing Internet access.

If only the last test fails, you don't have DNS.

If both the last two tests fail, your gateway is not gatwaying.

If all tests pass, but your USL fails, re-check the URL.

If you typed out a URL you saw in HTML (e.g. an email's message
"text") then be advised that HTML allows any text to be laid over a
link - it may be a URL, but may differ from the real link.

Also, watch out for links that break across multiple lines.

Finally, check the "HOSTS" file for address overrides, and also
exclude malware that may patch into the overall process.
