Urgent - Second Request

Hi there - I posted two questions 25 and 26 June - one (inadvertently sent twice) for Carried Forward help in Access Queries, 2nd in Access Reports re Pivot Charts printing fonts.

I would really appreciate any help you can offer - am currently preparing monthly reports in new access database and am having to use all old graphs and reports in Excel - kinda defeating the purpose of changing to Access!

Even a push (be nice) in the right direction would be nice as my head is spinning over these 2 issues!

Many thanks in anticipation - Jo

Unfortunately, those posts are unlikely to be at anyone's fingertips -- they
may have aged off their newsreaders or their local storage. I suggest you
ask them again, each in a separate post, and each with a descriptive subject
line. Many very busy people participate in these newsgroups and can only
spend the time to open and read a post if the subject indicates it is an
area in which they can assist. (For other good tips on effective use of
newsgroups, see the FAQ at http://www.mvps.org/access/netiquette.htm.)

Thank you Larry I will repost again - even tho I had put them under the appropriate post and had descriptive headings but I will try again. I appreciate many very busy people participate in this, but I thought that was what this newsgroup was for - too help those who need it.

That is indeed what it is for, but busy people have to do what they can in
the time they have available. A few questions here are answered by Microsoft
personnel, but very few. All the rest are volunteering their time and
energy.

Indeed, some questions are just overlooked (that is rare). Others don't get
answers because the question doesn't contain enough information -- I try to
request what I think is missing when I open one of that kind, but I don't
always have enough time -- or because the question doesn't make sense.

In any case, going back and searching for a question to answer would be
asking for someone to go above and beyond the call of volunteerism, I think.

Absolutely right and I apologise if I offended - just needed a push in the right direction as I am also extremely busy and in fact have just finished a full on 4 days (including the weekend) and am very tired and grumpy :-( Sorry.

This is the first EVER time I posted anything on a newsgroup and it took me a while to get up the gusto to do it as I didn't want to waste anyone's time or look like an idiot. I also didn't want to push it in case I got people peeved off for posting the same question, so didn't keep reposting. However I will in future just in case its been missed.

So to bed with a job not finished ... and I will rethink about posting tomorrow with a fresh and clear head.

Thank you for answering.

I never use Charts in Access as they are very cumbersome to program using
it.
consider linking your access data to an excel sheet & build the chart based
on that...
