I suppose somebody wrote some application that does it as you type, I've never had any use for such a feature. If you have Photoshop it is very easy. 1. Just type something as your normally would, picking the font/size you like. 2. Select Rasterize from the Layer menu. 3. From Edit select transform, then flip horizontal. Other applications do it in a similar way. If you have Word I think that has some flip option too.
