URGENT:Error and timeout

I have an ODBC connection from access to SQL server and
push data sometimes 100,000 records at a time. recently,
with no change in coding, I have been getting this error
from my access program during the transfer:


Runtime error '-2147217871 (80040e31)'
[Microsoft][ODBC SQL server driver ] timeout expired

I get this error while even trying to push through less
than 1000 records.

Any help would be appreciated.

I have the exact same problem since I upgraded from Access 97 to 2003.
Please let me know if you figured it out.
