URGENT!!!BIg FILE SIZE???

Hi

CAn anyone kindly advice how come my excel file is 90mb big when i onl
have some data in there...? normally it should only be less than 10mb..
Can anyone please help..?

This problem might occur if you change the formatting for all cells in the
workbook, so I suggest that you have a look at
http://support.microsoft.com/?id=244435. to delete the empty cells in the
workbook and reset "last cell"

thanks to all who has helped... the microsoft article dun seem t
exist...

it seems that the problem is due to pivot tables... there was a chang
of data and when the tables were refreshed, the problem then started..

anyway thanks i really appreciate i

Hello. The link provided by Stefan worked ok for me.
One thing to try as an experiment...Select your pivot table, select "Pivot
Table Options", and remove the check on "Save data with table layout."

I didn't have any trouble reading it try this it is indented.

Please report back if that solves the problem, since you said it wasn't
found. Usual problems involve security settings that should never be
required, but if hat were the problem you still would have found the site.
