After re-attaching my mouse and re-booting my computer, the images on my
desktop were all upside down. Right now I have my monitor upside down so I
can work. I can't find any help online. Can someone help me?

You may have a video card that supports 180 degree screen rotation.

Try hitting CTRL, ALT and the UP arrow key.

Control, alt right arrow moved the image 90 to right, some with the left -
but control, alt up does nothing. Any other ideas? Thanks for your help!

You got to be kidding. You have your monitor upside down??? Have you recently installed any codec update packages like Nemo?

No, not kidding - I only wish I were!! Not only have I not installed any
codec updates, I actually have no idea what those are. Yes, upside-down
monitor - with the stand thing on top - looks kind of like a hat. Any ideas
of what to do nest? Thanks for any ideas.

Which video card are you using? Make and model. Also, it may be necessary
to reinstall your video drivers.

Have you ever tried working on getting any video files to play and tried this or that?

I cannot imagine re-attaching your mouse and then rebooting could do this to a previously flawless system.

Same thing happened to me. Pressing Ctrl +Alt+Up solved the problem. (Because
I had a flat screen I could'nt turn it on its head!). This happens if Service
Pack 2is installed.

Interesting. I know that Service Pack 1 introduced a bug into the IIS Services and I asked once if that would be true for all service packs since ostensibly all previous service packs are included in later ones. So then I wonder if this issue might also be introduced with SP3 and SP4 or is it specific to SP2 only?
