UpperCase string

hello,

how can i make my text in my textbox to always be as upperCase letters.

meaning when ever the user enters a letter for example a so an A will be
written insted and if a number it will be typed as a number
a2 will be A2.

i tried with keyDown and KeyUp but couldn't take away the lower case letters
and to write numbers.

an example will be gr8.
