hi,

having just learned front page in the last month or so, i have probably done
something dumb. i have a sub web which i have named with a capital first
letter. (e.g. www.abc.com/Health).

i want it to be www.abc.dom/health -- and if i try to go there in my
browser, it doesn't find it.

apparently just changing the web site settings name is not enough.

how do i do this?

thanks!

fred

The problem isn't that you called your sub Web Health or health. Your home page for the Health Web needs a home page in the health folder called index. That way when you type www.abc.dom/health ...your browser will go right to your home page in the health folder. Hope that makes sense to you.

You can also try www.abc.com/health/ and see where that
takes you.

If you are publish to a Unix/Linux server then the case of file and folder
name must match the HTML code in your pages, index.htm must be in the proper
case and named correctly, maybe needs to be index.html
