UPnP internet gateway icon gone after SP2

I have a UPnP router, and Windows used to show an icon in Control Panel ->
Network Connections -> Internet connection. This allows me to watch the
traffic through the router as well as open UPnP ports on the router. After
installing SP2, however, I can't get this icon no matter what I do. I've
turned off Windows Firewall completely as well as disabling its service in
Admin. Tools-> Services. Without this icon, the programs that support UPnP
protocal still works (can open ports by themselves, etc), but I can't tell
what ports they've opened, nor can I open ports myself.

Is there any way of restoring this icon without uninstalling SP2 completely?
Or, if this icon can't be restored, are there any utilities which do similar
functions?

Go to "My Network Places" and under "Network Tasks" there
should be something that says "Show icons for networed
UPnP devices" click it and that should fix your problem.

I have also the same problem whith a UPNP netgear router .
The "Show icons for networed UPnP devices" item show only router
icon in "Favoris reseau" (french version of Xp) but no internet gateway
icon in Network Connections appear.
