uploading thumbnails only in "photo gallery"

(This is a second posting; the 1st never showed up. What's
with that?)

When using the photo gallery feature of FP 2002, is it
possible to upload just the thumbnails without having to
upload the actual full photo-file of the thumbnail?

I just want a collage of about 60 thumbnail photos for my
viewers. I don't need to provide the option of viewing a
larger higher-resolution copy. If I can't do it in FP 2002
how else might I "batch-compress" a group of jpegs and
upload it to my site?

Hi Gill,

Sorry but the Photo Gallery was not designed for that. There are a number of
"Free" tools that can create thumbnail as a batch. One that comes to mind is
ACDSEE. Check http://www.google.com
