Upload Control Limitations

Does the upload control try to cache the uploaded file in memory on the
server side (or client side, for that matter) before it's saved? I've got
my MaxRequestLength set to 1GB, but I get an out of memory error when I try
to upload a file larger than, say, 450MB.

Thoughts?

Hi Jerry,

ASP.NET chokes on large files. There's a free component called DotNetUpload
that claims to help with this. It might be worth a look:
