Go to http://download.live.com/wlmail
Download the installer and run it.
When Windows Live Mail runs the first time, it will import all your Windows Mail data.
I performed the install, but since I have Outlook Express installed as well
as WIndows Mail, it appears to have used the OE program to install based on,
rather than updating the WIndows Mail, or using it as the basis for the
install.
If I delete the OE program before installing, will it instead install based
on the Windows Mail program?
You can't be running OE and Windows Mail at the same time on the same
computer.
Windows Mail comes with Vista and will not run on XP.
Outlook Express will not install or work on Vista.
Windows Live Mail will work on both XP and on Vista.
