upgrading to XP Pro

I now have 98 SE, and I want to upgrade to XP Pro. On
advice of store clerk, I purchased an upgrade CD (says
0801 Part No. X08-46836). When I got home and read the
outside of the box, it says "for PCs with Windows 95 or
earlier versions" but I have 98 SE. Did I get the wrong
upgrade, or will this work?

It will work fine, but it sounds like you got the full version, not the
upgrade. If you paid the upgrade price I think you got a good deal!
