upgrading to Win2k

Isn't there a software program provided by Microsoft that
you can run in your computer to see if it is compatible
with 2000? Where can I find it?

It is on the Win 2k CD. With the CD in the CD drive go to start - run - and
type D:\winnt32.exe /checkupgradeonly.

Where D = your CD drive.
