"Upgrading" to a New Product Key

Hi. Does anyone know if there's a way to change an
installation to a new product key? That is, same version
of a program, new disk.

I recently bought a new iPaq that came with Outlook
2002. I upgraded mine, no problems (was Office 2000,
working on XP). Now I have to return the PPC for an
exchange and will get a new package with a new CD, etc.
Can I install the new one over the current program and so
change the registration to the one I'll end up owning?

why not just leave it as is until you need to reinstall sometime later?
