I currently use a older computer that is a Pentium(2 i
belive)466mhz with 192mb Ram 8.4gigHD and was woundering
if Windows XP will run properly on this system.. wanting
to upgrade from Windows 98.

My computer is mainly used for Online Gaming/Email/
Surfing the net/Chatting in chat rooms and in a P2P
enviroment..

any feedback on this would be great thank you

Your system meets the minimum requirements for XP; however for what you use
your computer for I think you should stay with 98. XP would not perform up
to its capacities on your computer, and would likely have hardware, software
and driver problems.

It won't be a speed demon, but it should be OK for those uses.
You might want to consider adding a little more RAM.
