Upgrading my computer

I currently have Window XP on my computer. I would like to
upgrade my:
hard drives
motherboard
processor
video card

Can I re-install Windows XP on my new equipment and still
have it work? Do I have to contact Microsoft and have them
do anything? If I keep my old hard drive, will that make
the transition easier?

Please advise.

I would use the file and settings transfer wizard within Windows X
Do a clean install and then load your files and settings from the folder you will create from the proces
You will be much happier. You will still need to reinstall several applications but in the long run your performance will be much bette
