Upgrading Hotmail for Outlook

I just tried to set up my Outlook account using my Hotmail account. Outlook
wouldn't let me send messages, with an error box appearing saying that a
subscription was now required, and to log on to http://upgrade.msn.com, which
I did, and upgraded to Hotmail Plus, which included setting up Outlook
through Hotmail one of Hotmail Plus's 'services'.

So I paid the $20 upgrade subscription fee and Outlook STILL won't let me
send messages, but now the error box is coming up as 'Unknown Error'. What's
going on? Somebody please help.

Since you're now paying for Hotmail, you might consider asking MSN support.
