Hi there:
I need to upgrade my 2 computers from XP Home to Pro. I
understand the XP Pro full version will allow me to
install on 2 computers. Is there a trick to doing an
upgrade using a "full" (rather than an upgrade) product?
Thanks a bunch
John

Q. "I understand the XP Pro full version will allow me to

A. Incorrect assumption. You need to purchase a new license
(Product Key) for each installation on a different computer.

Only a "Retail Full Version" of Windows XP Pro can upgrade
over XP Home. But an "OEM Version" of XP Pro cannot
perform an upgrade....clean install only on a reformatted drive!
