upgraded 97 toXP Pro and do not have previous saved e-mails+address book in 2002

I have just upgraded from office 97 to office XP Pro and
in the process expected my personal address book and
saved e-mail from 97 would be tranferred across to
Outlook2002. Is there any way of still accessing these
and if so can I import them to 2002. I have found
articles 299008 (Q299008) and 288442 (Q288442) in the MS
knowledge base but am unsure if these apply to my
situation. Can anyone please help me with this THANKS!!!!

You should be able to open any PST file with the File | Open | Outlook Data File command and import your PAB with File | Import and Export.
