Upgrade

I have microsoft Works Suite 2004. All I want is Excel.
Can I purchase the Excel 2003 upgrade and install it to
upgrade the Works Suite?

Excel is not part of MS Works Suite. Excel is bundled with MS Office Suite.

MS Works Suite has a spreadsheet component but this is not Excel.

MS Works 2004 is a qualifying product for an upgrade to any Office Suite or
stand-alone Application of MS Office.

Gord,
Are you telling me that I can purchase the Excel Upgrade for $109.00 and
install it on my computer. I do not have to buy the full version? Because I
have the Work Suite 2004 that is what qualifies me for the lower price. When
I install the upgrade version it will work like the full version? Thank you.

The way I read it......you would buy the full version of stand-alone Excel for
$109.00 because you have a qualifying product......Works Suite 2004

It would not be an "upgrade" version since you don't have Excel at present.

Read the info on the website carefully.

NOTE: when installing, you will have to provide some sort of proof that you
have MS Works Suite 2004.

I do not know the routine for that.
