Upgrade without Anytime

I have a Dell that shipped with Vista Home Premium.
I already possess DVD/License for Ultimate.

If i just run the setup from the DVD will it do a safe and easy upgrade in
place that preserves the rest of the Dell configuration?

Hello Michael,

You will have to perform the upgrade from within your existing install, ie
from the Desktop of your Home Premium. All of your existing settings and
applications will be preserved.

Depending on how much you currently have installed, do bear in mind that an
upgrade can take a *long* time.
