Upgrade to windows vista from xp professional

Option upgrade is disabled why my windows xp language is Italian and is
different of windows vista beta 2 language. It is possible to unable option
update?
 
You cannot upgrade from one language version to another.
You need the same language version of Vista as Windows XP.
