Upgrade to Outlook 2003 - lose personal info?

I am considering upgrading to Outlook 2003 from Outlook 2002. I downloaded
the free trial, and I noticed that it wanted to remove my 2002 version before
installing the 2003 version. I can't afford to lose the info I have stored
in 2002: contacts, calendar, to do list and old emails. So, I haven't tried
the demo yet.

If I do upgrade to 2003, possibly along with signing up for MSN Outlook
Live, will I lose this information? Is there any way to avoid losing this
information? Does 2003 automatically import the information from 2002?

Furthermore, if anyone has experience with this Outlook Live thing, I'd be
interested in your thoughts on that. I have an MSN account that I use, but I
can currently use it through Outlook 2002. Is Outlook Live any better? Will
it keep my contacts etc. safer?

Thanks for helping an admitted computer idiot. I will be grateful for any
assistance.

Upgrade and all your data will be there. Your PST (containing all your
data)should be retained in the same location as it is now. Make a copy of it
just in case.

Outlook Live installs a new version of Outlook 2003. If you use Word 2002 as
your editor then you will no longer get that ability. Mail Merge will also
be broken. Outlook 2003 works much better with Word 2003 installed.
