Upgrade problem

I have a computer that I am trying to upgrade from ME to
Windows 2000. I have done this before with no problem,
but I am trying it on a Dell Dimension 4100 and am having
problems. The setup gets to the 'Performing Final Tasks'
section. On the step 'Upgrades program and system
settings', the computer takes a long time on this step,
then with no error messages or anything, the computer
reboots and starts back at the beginning of 'Performing
Final Tasks'. I have taken all cards out except the video
card. I don't know what else to try. Can anyone give me
some suggestions?

There is no supported upgrade path from WinME to Windows 2000 hence the
problems you experience.
