Upgrade from Windows ME to Windows 2000

I ran setup to install Win 2000 and it now is in a
continuous loop where it restarts half way through install
and then goes back to the beginning. How can I stop it?
When I hard boot and have the option to go to DOS it says
that DOS is missing a file and will not run. If I could
get the processor to recognize the D: or E: drives I would
just reinstall Win ME and not try to upgrade. Can anyone
help?

There is no supported upgrade path from WinME to Windows 2000. Most likely
the only way to stop is to format and or delete the partition and start
over.
