Upgrade from Vista Basic to Vista Ultimate

I have Vista Basic Preinstalled. Now I would like tp upgrade to Ultimate
edition. I heard that there is an Upgrade edition available which is cheaper
but I am not sure if it will upgrade an OEM edition. Is there anyone here
have ever upgrade from OEM edition?
