Upgrade 2003 to 2007

I am about to install Office Pro 2007, currently using Office Pro 2003 and
wish to install BOTH office programs on the same computer until I can migrate
the files. I understand removing Outlook, however, what happens to my
multiple calendars and email accounts if I agree to remove Outlook 2003? Are
they still accessible, or how do I ensure they can be accessed by the new
version of Outlook 2007?

There is too much to print and reenter and I would like to avoid the need to
re-enter historical data for meetings and the emails sent/received.

Thank you.

You ensure data is backed up;
There is no requirement to 'migrate files' using the upgrade installation of
Office 2007, all your data will still be there and useable, you can still
create docs in 2007 and save in the old format.
OL2007 should under normal circumstances use your origonal Profile and be
connected to origonal data

Everything is still accessible. Out of curiosity, you say you need to keep
both to migrate files. Why are you considering keeping Office 2003
installed when Office 2007 can open/work with all of the 2003 document
types. I just ask as when I moved from Office 2003 to 2007, I just
uninstalled Office 2003 and then installed Office 2007 and I haven't run
into any issues*.

* Of course I don't use Access and could be your sticking point.

If you wish to keep both Office 2003 and 2007 installed, bear in mind that
multiple versions of Outlook do not coexist - you must decide between OL'03
and '07. (The other applications can coexist).
If you pick OL'03, run Office '07 install as a new installation, and skip
Outlook.
If you pick OL'07:
copy your .pst files to a backup location - note which one is the default
message store.
copy your .pst files to a backup location
rerun Office'03 install to remove Outlook
install Office'07, including Outlook, as a new installation
Attach your saved .pst files to Outlook using File, Data File Management,
Add...
Set the default .pst to what it was in OL'03

There is no need to attach the old data files, the origonal Profile will be
used, in allmost all cases
