I have some Excel macro code written using VB.5. How do I
change the macro editor to use VB.Net?? The code is not
visible (I don't know wehre to look for it) as a VB
project - It is stored with the Excel workbook. When I
load the Excel work book it uses VB.5. I have not found a
way to Use the Excel spread sheet and convert the macro
code to VB.Net.

2 libraries, 3 book stores, hours searching Kowledge base
later.

I have found no mention of a way to change the version of
VB that excel uses for a macro editor. I dont' think you
can change the editor that Excel uses (from VBA.6 to
VB.net for example). There seems to be a reason it is
called Visual Basic for Applications when it is attached
to the version of office products it is shipped with.

It seems you must select and buy compatiblel versions of
the XP operationg system, A version of excel (office 2003
probably), choose the version of visual basic that uses
the same format for its methods, events, proceedures, ect.
that the other systems use. It avoids subtile errors too
numerous to mention when they are all compatible.
