Updating various documents at once

I am attempting to have one master document, that when i make changes to it,
sections in other related documents will be updated as well. can anyone
suggest a good way of doing this? how do i link the documents and how do i
specify which sections to pull from the master? thanks!!!

Use an IncludeText field. Look it up in the help file; it's all one word.

thank you so much ANne, i actually stumbled across another post and have been
trying to do this. however i keep getting an error!not a valid file name.
it works fine when i just put in the file name:
"G:\Proposals\Proposal-Comprehensive-mimi changes.doc"

but doesn't work onc ei add the bookmark:
"G:\Proposals\Proposal-Comprehensive-mimi changes.doc" objectivesgeneral

any ideas??? thanks for your help!

well, it seem i got it to somehow work, but now it will not work as soon as i
click preserve formatting, why should that change anything? thanks!
