Updating to a new version of database!

Is there an easy way to add new or modified forms and reports, and change the
options on the switchboard, withouth sending a new front end file? The
reason behind this is if the front end is networked the path will be
different on each computer. They are used in local offices and are not
networked over a WAN. Or is there an easy way to tell the database where the
link tables are?
