Updating Template

Hello,

I have a template that contains a corporate 'terms and conditions'
attachment. The template works very well. The terms and conditions document
changes quite frequently and I need to amend the template each time this
happens.

If my terms and conditions attachment is called 'TAC.doc', is there a way
that I can create a template, and each time I use it, it attaches TAC.doc on
the fly.

I can't help thinking that I'm dreaming here but if anybody has any kind of
suggestion I would be grateful. I would also appreciate it if someone can
give me a definite 'not possible'.

If by "template," you mean a saved .oft file, you will have to attach the new document each time you update it.

Thanks for getting back to me Sue. I did mean an .oft file. Does your
response indicate that there is another kind of template that would make it
possible to do what I need it to do?

Thanks again,

Not really. While a custom form could run code to attach the latest file each time, it would result in a message that a non-Outlook recipient wouldn't be able to read the attachment from. Unless you want to write quite a bit more code.

I'm more of a copy and paste code bloke myself, so I'll go with manually
attaching I think. Thanks for your help.
