Updating one table from another.

Hi,

I have 2 tables. One is an order table and the other is a stock table.

How do I get the number of items sold in the order table taken away from the
stock table automatically so I do not have to enter it in both?

You need more than two tables for an order/inventory system. Look at the
Northwinds sample database for basic setup. There is also an inventory
template in Access that will help you setup basic data structure, menu,
entry forms and reports; why would you choose to not use it?
