Updating data for a splitted database.

Hello,

I splitted my database into a fe and be. the fe is
installed on users PC while the be is in a network server.
My question is how is the data being updated after users
add new data or modify existing data. Does it update
automatically after users exit out the database? Thanks

The data is updated instantly, and automatically.
