Updating components

Hi

Am new to Windows SysAdmin, so sorry if this is a simple question I
shouldn't really need to ask, or if it should go to a different group

Is there an easy way to deploy software (in particular Service Packs,
Hotfixes, virus definition files, etc) to all the computers on a network
without me having to visit each computer individually?

Network is entirely Win2K based, and using Active Directory.
