Updating a Briefcase

Hi, I was wondering whether it's possible to have a
Briefcase update itself automatically (say at startup or
shutdown, or periodically) rather than having to manually
select 'Update all items' from within the briefcase
itself? What I'm trying to achieve is to have a backup
copy of certain files (favourites, start-menu links etc)
on a secondary partition so that they will not be lost
when I choose to restore the active partition to an
earlier state (using 'Drive Image'). I figured the
easiest way to do this would be to include the relevant
folders in a briefcase on the second partition, but don't
want to have to manually update it all the time. Any
advice would be appreciated.

If you don't want to use the backup program that came
with XP,there are some very good 3rd party programs out
there to do exactly what you want.To backup your
favorites menu>>>>Click on file(left top of IE)>click on
import and export>click next in wizard window>select
export favorites>click browse button>select 3.5 floppy
and click save.To import back to computer just do
same,exept select import....Good luck.
