I have one update that my laptop will not install. I would simply like to
get rid of it and have the computer stop prompting me to install it. In
other words I want to forget it and move on. How can I stop this prompting
me to install or telling me I need to update this one download. I have
all the others and will continue to download the new updates but this one is
giving me a problem and I want to bypass it. Any help is appreciated.
Thank you.

It always helps to give the complete details so someone can give an educated
answer. Those would include operating system, update that fails computer
type, etc. Yes you can hide it but it may save some problems later by fixing
it.
