Updates of Calculating Fields

I am working on a spreadsheet that some linking to other sheets in the
workbook. One of the sheets has calculations being processed on linked data.
I can not wright my first formula and then do a "FILL DOWN" for all 34
fields. The fill function fills in with the value of the first field even
though the formula bar shows the calculation for that field. If I open a
blank workbook this fill function works fine and all fields have their own
values. Also, once data has been entered and I go back and change the data,
the field will not update to reflect the calculation. It is not a
complicated calculation at all. Just calculating percentages.
 
Go to tools>options>calculations and make sure calculations are set to
automatic

or press F9 to force a calculation if you need them to be manual

goto 'Tools - Options - Calculate' and enable 'Automatic calculation'
