Updater does not work!

I'm unable to update the MS Spyware. The updater claims
unable to get Internet access in spite of my broadband
connection very much kickin and alive. Any help would be
highly appreciated.

Maybe its a fault with MSAS itself. Have you tried uninstalling and
reinstalling to see if it solves the issue? Also ensure you are logged on
with Administrative priviledges.

I had exactly the same problem.

I solved the problem by deleting the AntiSpyware application (via Add/Remove
Programs) and downloading again.
